There are several game concepts that a player should know when playing Rebel Inc. These are important mechanics that will help in mastering the game.

Support Level

Main article: Support Level

Support Level is what the local population perceives of you. The higher it is, the faster you will recruit supporters and stabilize the region.

It is composed of Global Support, in which a percentage of it is applied slowly to zones, and Local Support - which converts neutral people to supporters. Another related (but hidden) statistic is Hostility, which converts hostiles to neutral people. Both statistics are inversely proportional: as support level increases, hostility level decreases.

Inflation

The large investments made by the Operation may destabilize the local economy and therefore cause inflation.

Inflation increases the price of all initiatives. Buying many initiatives quickly makes Inflation rise, especially if there are many purchases in a single initiative area. Some governors (Banker and Development Director) have an inflation bonus, and some initiatives (Effective Procurement and Corruption Purges) can permanently increase prices. Inflation always decreases over time (relatively quickly as well).

Some initiatives (like Roads) are extremely prone to inflation, while others (Coalition Military Initiatives) are much more resilient to inflation.

Corruption

This chart shows how fast corruption grows up match to corruption risk for all difficulties, when current Corruption is 0% and Corruption Risk is 50%)

Another consequence of the investments flooding into the region is that unscrupulous officials get opportunities for personal enrichment. If they are not held accountable, corruption may run rampant throughout the region, turning the population and Operation partners alike against your government.

Corruption Risk is the highest maximum value of Corruption at any given moment. Corruption itself slowly increases to the maximum that the current corruption risk will allow. Corruption itself reduces your Support Level and Reputation. Anti-Corruption Initiatives should be used to control Corruption Risk and Corruption.

The Support Level damage is equivalent to 1.15*c2 whereas the reputation loss per month is (c3.6)*6. (c = Corruption)

Reputation

Main article: Reputation

Reputation reflects the confidence held in you by The Coalition, the international community and the local population. If it drops to zero, you lose. Stabilizing zones increases reputation, while Insurgent activity reduces it.

Initiatives

Main article: Initiatives

Initiatives are the primary way for the Operation to perform important actions. They have various effects on your Support Level, Reputation, combat strength and other factors. Most initiatives increase both corruption risk and inflation.

Insurgents

Main article: Insurgents

Controlling the Insurgents is essential to stabilise the region.

Peace process

Main article: Peace Process

An important aspect of your operation is to establish diplomatic contact with the insurgents to have peace within the region.
