Dark Tunnels is one of the Official Scenarios in Rebel Inc., added along with Flying Fury, Corporate Development in 1.1.2 version.

Description

After clicking in this scenario, the player will load in a set Black Caves map, where a pop-up will tell the player there is a "Tunnel Network" Identified in the region, yet saying that "bunker missiles" have been authorised to deal with the threat. In this map, 6 tunnels will spawn on the map (location are always same) , which can pose a serious threat to the zones (insurgents can disrupt stablized zones often} and damage ones' reputation. Insurgents can only use the tunnel if they take control of the zone.

The way to counter tunnels is by the Bunker Buster branch of initiatives. which there are three in total, one will destroy a tunnel entrance. Like Embassy Evacuation, when one bunker missile is purchased, All zones with tunnels will have pop-ups above them, but only one can be destroyed one time. Unlike embassies, tunnels in zones under insurgents' control can be targeted just as same.

A Minor drawback, which is unavoidable, is the local support level decrease due to missiles. It is 100% will happen, but it is so minor that shouldn't affect reputation.

All things work the same other than that, such as peace negotiations, news pop-ups, etc.

Trivia

  • It is actually understandable why only three missiles can be used, since they are large in size and pretty expensive too.
