Specialist Depots
Summary
Specialist depots are found in the Campaign and in Weekly Challenges. They are randomly placed in zones, with about 2-4 per region. They may also be found in certain Official Scenarios or Custom Scenarios.

Player Interactions
Specialist Depots are discovered when players gain maximum intel on a zone. Once secured by an allied soldier unit, the player can choose to keep it as a consumable upgrade token or sold for $5-$7.
As a token, these act as upgrades applicable to allied units without any. They give a general combat boost to said unit in their respective terrain types. They cannot be removed from a unit once attached. Specialists can replace other upgrades on your soldiers which can be helpful for some governors.
Insurgent Interactions
If Insurgents capture a zone that has a specialist depot, they will destroy the upgrade and make it unavailable for the player to acquire it. They will also gain a general capability boost.
